A time to be alone…
Watched with Biwi-jee, the movie Rock On!! again. It was her first. Me a second time. Then there was vaccuum. I wanted to swim within myself alone bring back those days when I was single and watching the ocean while sipping bloody mary or driving those long distances with some music that i loved playing on non stop loop. these two songs bring back those memories, and have sucked me in them, in my past that I am lost in myself oblivous to Biwi-jee and those around… those loner days, dusky cold evenings and a sweet sadness resting somewhere close to me…
here are the two songs… I need to sip a few more beers while I listen to these… sharing my melancholic moment with you… the songs are lovely, beautiful and somehow transport me to the climax of The MBA Gang… you can shuffle between the two songs by clicking the left or right arrow or just sit back and the two songs will play on a constant loop

I want to marry Dominique Cerejo. I have listened to Yeh Tumhari Meri Baatein more than 200 hundred times in last week. She has the most in-f’in-credibly seductive voice I have heard in long time.

@Tejas, yes, there is that quality that sucks you in the song… last experienced this in Bulla Ki Jaana. Been playing this song since morning over multiple cups of chai and it is driving Biwi-jee nuts!
I wish I could find a nice flash player for Wordpress to play these audio and video files.

WOW! What an amazing voice…beautiful songs. It’s been a really looooong time since a female vocalist has impressed me so much!

ohh yesss…loved the film and the music..not sure..why so many others on pfc are hating it…the songs sounded even better in the movie…i guess sometimes we just over-analyze and kill the joy of watching and hearing to good film/music…

@Oz - yes, but I didn’t want to say that I want to marry Rabbi Shergill! ;) Well, that’s why my favorite nighttime or alone time band is The Gathering. Freaking amazingly haunting and sweet vocals of the lead singer Annekke are just too much to resist. You should give it a try if you haven’t already. :)

@FB, exactly… !
you didn’t! The Gathering… hmmm… got any online links I can listen to their demo?
@Sumeet, so true… it is important at times to set back and let your heart sing the song it wants to rather than follow the crowd’s tune.
