GGV’s CONTRACT : Get lost Fuck off

Thursday, July 24th, 2008
Originally published on Passion For Cinema After years have we seen such a smashing, wonderful, gripping, movie to grace the silver screen. Guru Ghantal Varma (aka GGV) the director has definitely redeemed himself after such beautiful but badly rejected films like GGV ki Aag, NoShabd and Bekar Raj. After finishing the 90 odd minutes of Contract on a DVD, oztrac walks out for a breather. And VOILA! Across the street is the great Guru Ghantal Varma is beach shorts and ganji (no not a bald woman, but a vest), walking in surf sandals, gracing the streets of Newport Beach, Orange County with Bimbo and BiggerBimbo on his either side, whom one may guess have been offered GGV's next projects - Thook ...

The Dark Knight - Good things come in heavy doses

Tuesday, July 22nd, 2008
We walked out of a 150 minute spectacle called The Dark Knight last weekend. Biwi looked at me as we walked to the car and asked "So how was it?"... To me that question is as simple as simple can be. Watch a movie. Come out. It's a yes or a no. But then there are some. Some like The Dark Knight. I was still reeling under the weight of the movie. It is heavy. And I've been spoilt rotten. And I'm not taking any sides here since I have no indepth knowledge about the topic. 1. Most of the MPs did not know the full form of IAEA 2. Amar Singh had opposed the whole joining the IAEA a year or two ago in the Rajya Sabha. Today he along with his party is the strongest supporter of the UPA. 3. The Left Party is project Mayawati as the ...

Friday Masala : Guy in the dock

Friday, July 18th, 2008
Yesterday we had some psycho babbling of a desi girl gone wild on the phone (maybe I should launch the desi version of girls gone wild)... it's time to hear the voice message of a guy on the same plane. Backstory: Girl meets guy, talks for two minutes, and hands the guy her business card. More Backstory: Guy is 'supposedly' a pickup artist running his own lair in Toronto. What the hell: Clearly guy begins with a 'fake alpha male' dude I'm the king attitude with his first voice mail. This is psycho: Yes it is, the meltdown starts with every subsequent voicemail. What should Guys learn from this: Mastering a pickup game is stupid, if the inner game is zero. The inner ...
