The Katara Case: Another Politician’s kin gets the BOOT
Your heart rips and bleeds when you read how the mother of Nitish Katara, has single handedly been fighting the rich and powerful people and politicians to get justice for her dead son.
Nitish Katara, was murdered six years ago by the then Rajya Sabha MP - DP YADAV’s son VIKAS YADAV and his cousin VISHAL YADAV. The reason for the murder? The cousins did not approve their sister dating Nitish Katara. (that means I should have been killed over 72 times by now)
The courts awarded the two cousins life in prison. After six years. In this six years, the mother of Nitish gave up her job, lost her husband, was harassed and heckled by the big and mighty, succeeded in getting the hearing for the case moved to Delhi so she could get an impartial hearing, - six years.
Six long years.
After the Jessica Lal case this is the second one where the rich and mighty have been brought to their knees if they’ve played with law.
Though the family of the Yadav’s has declared they will be going to the Supreme Court to appeal. And it means God knows how many more years to get justice for the mother.

I am not sure if we should be celebrating this sentencing. The fact that it took the mother of the victim so long to get justice and the tribulations she had to go through to get it should be shameful. Plus, if the media had not highlighted the case the Yadav assholes would still be throwing their “tujhe pata hai mera baap kaun hai” drivel. But at least the two bastards will rot in hell, aka as an Indian jail, for the rest of their lives. At least some things work in our country.

The Yadav’s are neta ka beta no doubt but the Kataras are also no pushover… people staying at a LBZ bungalow cant be not rich & mighty.
The test for justice will be when an upper caste boy will be convicted for raping/killing a Dalit girl
And justice will prevail only when the Great F***ing Indian Middle Class learns to see beyod their own interest
