The Idiot-ness in those things…

The morning email at work had this note:

“Wednesday will have a half day. Please wrap your work up by noon. Thursday and Friday will be off… [blah blah] This is also an advance reminder that the offices will be closed from December 21st to January 1st.”

Immediately my mouse moves to the calender. 20 hours lost this week. 64 hours lost in December.

That means no pay for 84 hours in total.

Why me? Why me when I’m working on an hourly basis. God Please explain.

For years and years I’ve toiled as a permanent employee. Never ONCE DID I FUCKING GET SO MANY HOLIDAYS from my employer… WHY THE FUCK DO I NOW GET TO WORK AS A CONSULTANT. ON A PROJECT AT CLIENT’S PLACE WHO HAS SOOOOO FUCKING MANY HOLIDAYS.

The atrocity…!!!
