Friday Architect
“There are only two things you have to do… ask yourself consistently the question ‘Who Am I?’ and be a constant witness to the actions of your body and mind” - kept looping through this sentence of the late Lester Levenson (Sedona.com) of The Sedona Method.
I’d hardly slept in the last two days, working on the PFCOne festival and was practically dozing off in the train to work as Lester’s words popped out of the iPod.
Are people who are self realized, already know that they will be right from childhood? I wish I knew the answer to this and some more questions popping in my head. The last few weeks the bent is again towards the spiritual realm of things.
And then in all this the boss lands in your office giving you three days to modify an orchestration in a software package called the Enterprise Architect. I’ve never used it. And have no motivation to get my hands down and dirty in it. Had planned to look for an online book or tutorial which would quickly get me learning and using Enterprise Architect, but PFCOne has taken up all my time. It’s where my heart is right now.
Never expected there would be a 100 entries. Never. 30 was a good number. 50 was awesome. Never thought about “What if it’s beyond 50?”… Been sleeping around 1 am (I usually crash by 10… yeah gone are those wild days) and waking up at 5 to get ready for work. Neck deep in getting the videos organized, set up, encoded, uploaded, documented… uff…
This is a Friday much needed. And in a long long time, I’m looking for to a weekend of rest.
What rest? What will happen to the Enterprise Architect project? Damn…
So what else is new? We just received by mail an order I had placed at Amazon called the Ultra sound pest repellent.
That device is supposed to emit some kind of a noise that drives away all the spiders, ants, critters whatever have a house in your house. Does it work? Not sure cause the clickclickclickclick noise it emits is getting on my nerves… what was it supposed to drive out of the house? Humans?
Ah Denim Cargoes… somebody tell me why isn’t someone making those in the US? I can’t wear anything else besides cargoes and yesterday, again, there was this urge to search again for some denim cargoes. Maybe the mall calls me this weekend.
The GPhone… if you haven’t heard about it, then there was this whole talk on how Google will soon come out with something called the GPhone. Well that’s not true. Google is simply working on producing an open platform for mobile phones called Android on which developers can create the applications. I got to see a video of that and frankly I’m not that impressed. The iPhone seems to provide all the features that they showed in the video plus it has that amazing touch technology. Life without clinky or chunky buttons on your cell phone is a beautiful life.
Growing a goatee… the hair around my chin is all grey now… when did it happen… as the life insurance ad goes “Life comes at you fast”… ha! Yeah… perhaps it’s time to grow up and do all the conventional things… marriage, kids, family, a secured job… but then on second thoughts… NAH! It’s great to go grey with a smile… and hoping the smile stays there till the last breath…
Perhaps growing a goatee is a bad idea… darn, I need to get back to the 100 odd videos and work on the festival stuff… Enterprise Architect? I have no clue what I’m gonna tell my boss on Monday… there’s too much fun at PFCOne… :)
Until next time, ya’ll be good, stay safe and have a rocking weekend!

Adding that to my list of quotable quotes :)
