Movie starts shortly after you land on the page… first reaction… he’s trying very hard to surpass the visual grandeur (some call it vomit) of Devdas… you gotta give it to him… he is a painter of the large canvas, though skeptics may find the sets gaudy overdone… looking like just that - sets and not reality… who knows… SLB dreams up something visually and I like it though I’m not that big a fan of his script sense…
