RGV’s Sholay arrives on the inauspicious calendar date of Friday the 13th. According to Indiafm, the movie will be close to two hours and thirty minutes long.

I am so excited. I wish I had a fast forward the time button, so I could fast forward to July and then release the button past a few weeks of July 13th. I can’t help but be embarrassed by this project RGV has taken up.

Please somebody put some sense in him. It’s still not too late. However seriously the movie may be made, it can be easily converted into a “spoof on Sholay” without changing any scenes. Package it as comedy without changing any single line or dialogue in the movie. But get RGV out of this before it is too late.

Who knows RGV’s Sholay may just turn out to shock us… and I mean in a positive way… but the probability of this is itsy bitsy tiny me.

And since I’m quite inspired by RGV going boldly where no man has gone before, I’m planning to start a new movie inspired from one of RGV’s movies….
