Reality Bytes: Rahul Dholakia and Anurag Kashyap
Indian Express brought Rahul (Parzania) and Anurag (Black Friday) together over lunch and a discussion. It was a nice combination since both Parzania and Black Friday are based on real events that took place in India. Riots and Blasts.
The express team have some interesting questions and they dwelled more into the movie subject - society relationship rather than the stupid barrage of questions asked by 99.99% of the media today.
Meanwhile the stupidity and farce of Bollywood award functions continues with the Stardust awards…
Best Actress : Aishwarya Rai in Dhoom 2…
Mercifully Stardust didn’t go all way down the drain like the recent GIIFA awards…
Abhishek Bachchan won the best supporting actor for Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna… don’t agree with this one too, but then he didn’t do bad at all…
Mercifully Omakara and Rang De Basanti won a few trophies.
The utter craziness of coming up with new categories continued with “Breakthrough Performance of the Year” (so is this better or less than Best actor or Best supporting actor?), “Role Model of the Year Award” (so you think the best actor wasn’t a Role Model?), “Pride of the Indian Film Industry” (yeah the movies made outside Bollywood make you lose your face?)…

just observed sumthing interesting…….rahul’s made a comedy….burnt his fingers….then made a parzania…..now anurag has made a bf..now making ‘No Smoking’…i really hope it doesnt bomb at the box office…………..

Thought that it was one of those spoof news when I read about Aishwarya’s win for D2. WTF!!!!
What more can one really expect from Stardust???
