No… the commotion is about Shilpa Shetty getting bullied and being slapped with Racist remarks on TV right in front of the public.

According to this report…
Some viewers believe Shilpa Shetty’s being picked on by fellow housemates Jade Goody, Danielle Lloyd and Jo O’Meara because she’s Indian…
… Jade’s mother, Jackiey, repeatedly referred to Shilpa as “the Indian” while she was on the show and made a fuss about pronouncing her name correctly…
When Shilpa tried to console Danielle after Carole Malone’s eviction on Friday night, the girls were unimpressed.
“She makes me feel sick. She makes my skin crawl,” said Jade, with Danielle adding: “She’s a dog.”
Shilpa has ended up in floods of tears on more than one occasion.
She made a roast chicken for the group - only for Jo to refuse it, saying: “I don’t trust that chicken. I want to eat it but I’m scared,” Jo complained, claiming it was undercooked and too spicy.”
If you aren’t aware Danielle is an ex beauty queen who’s beauty crown was taken away because her behaviour was not in line with what the pageant required from the contest winner.
The Guardian reports that the racist remarks and behavior towards Shilpa have received record complaints…

Complaints about alleged racism on Channel 4’s Celebrity Big Brother have hit nearly 10,000, making it one of the most complained-about shows of all time.
Media regulator Ofcom said it had received 7,600 complaints by 5pm today, while Channel 4 confirmed it had received 2,000.
And now it’s taken a political twist… according to the same report…
The mood of anger at the alleged bullying inflicted on housemate Shilpa Shetty by Danielle Lloyd, Jo O’Meara and Jade Goody spread to parliament today, when Labour MP Keith Vaz tabled an early day motion condemning the Bollywood star’s treatment.
Mr Vaz’s motion said Big Brother had a “role to play in preventing racist behaviour” in the house and called on the programme to take “urgent action to remind housemates that racist behaviour is unacceptable”.
He added that he tabled the motion after members of his Leicester East constituency had complained to him.
“We would not tolerate this kind of racism on other types of television programme and we should not do so on a programme that is watched by millions of people,” he said.
Ofcom launched an investigation following the deluge of complaints, while Channel 4 has said it will not tolerate any racist abuse on the show.
However, the broadcaster added that Shilpa herself had not made any complaints.
And one of the evicted (not related to the issue) participants of the contest has this to say…
At least one evicted Big Brother housemate, Carole Malone, has said the bullying is motivated by jealousy. “Shilpa is too good-looking for her own good…”She’s an incredibly powerful and beautiful woman. She is a very strong woman and can handle it. I spoke to her about it when I was in the house.”
She added: “Shilpa feels that she represents the Indian/Asian community and doesn’t want to let them or herself down by retaliating.”

Racism is a misleading term intentionally weighted in favour of the immigrants, jewish in this case, who invented the concept. People who hate dogs don’t hate dogs because they are dogs they hate dogs because they bark all day and shit on the pavement. The term racism puts all the blame on the victim. If I went to live in an igloo and offended all the eskimos would it be their problem? I don’t think so.

Oz, I have been following this news on Sky & BBC. What I gather is that its the ppl on the outside are making big hue and cry about it. Looks like Shilpa is carrying on w/o much fuss.
Yes, she did cry on certain occassion But GOD isn’t she supposed to that all the time. She is a BOLLYWOOD actress and all that they do is CRY, CRY & CRY.
There is huge racism in India itself. Like Bahaiyya for ppl from UP/Bihar, Mallu for South Indian, Fair & Lovely ads ( as it dark is a taboo & u need to be fair) etc.
Its a part of life and all have to carry on. Some will stand up & fight, others will keep quite about.
Finally, as on now Shlpa has not yet complained about it to the admin of Big B. Looks like she is enjoying her time and if she continues to play her cards right she is poised to win the contest. Not bad for shedding some tears & sucking up some insults.
Lets wait and watch.

if i was shilpa i would neva let no bitch talk 2 me like de.i’d slap em up 4 jokes. Shilpa should stand up 4 her self as she aint gettn any support frm da other house mates which is realy shocking that they let a fat dog like jade talk 2 a lovely girl like shilpa.

from what i’ve seen on the news.. (and this seems to be a HUGE story.. much bigger than i thought).. the house consists of jade, her boyfriend (?), her mom, and some beauty pageant winner who is also somehow related to jade.. why is shilpa living with a family and not contestants? shouldn’t it be random people and not a family ganging up on one random person?
now let’s put an american or british person in shilpa’s shoes.. if this person, let’s call them X, was called “a dog”, i don’t think it’d be racism anymore.. it’s just a bunch of women acting catty against each other, mtv style.. why should this change in shilpa’s case? shilpa is only used to movies.. and her coming face to face with “reality” shows is giving her a reality check, pun intended. this is how they are, let’s face it.. people cursing each other and being bitchy at each other is what gets the ratings.. shilpa apparently doesn’t understand that..
i can see if calling someone an indian repeatedly might get to that person, probably even me.. but if i’m gonna be on a reality show, i’m gonna react by calling them a bitch repeatedly to their face and say my peace. instead shilpa has to react with tears? get back to REALITY shilpa. get tough, and get even. don’t cry. jesus.

Shilpa is playing the game all too well( I donno what this show is about..but, from all the articles flooded over internet and tons of comments here). She might have given a hoot if someone had said to her anywhere else..here she is playing the “sympathy” factor….and how..OMG!!!!
Not blowing my trumpet..but, me too was on Radio Reality dating show once…and i know how to play the game fair-bit….If something goes against you, and everyone else but you is reacting to it…best policy is ” OBSERVE and ABSORB”…No wonder i won the Show…LOL!!!!

She has asked for it…why make a fool of yourself. First of all let me tell me you she is equally annoying in the show. She tells them I am called “Indian Angelina”..”people call me Madam/Maam how can she talk like that to me”. First of all she should have thought about all this before entering. WHo ever have watched the previous show knows what in store.
I have seen the episodes so far. I agree Daniell, Jade, Jo are being big time B’s. If Shilpa is smart and sensible she shud just ignore the. If you keep taking such things to heart you are giving uneccessary importance to them.
The best thing would be if she is ousted soon. This week she is pitched again Jade. TRP’s are going to be at peak. On the other side because of all this hue those 3 females have lost lot of work contracts which they are not aware yet.
Reality TV is that what they call it …phewww
