Yes… rediff goes a step forward and starts calling the couple in Hollywood style - Abhiwarya (oz please note: It is not just filmmakers that are “influenced” by Hollywood… but media now has joined that queue)
And it seemed to have been destined.
After being seriously involved with a few men in the industry most prominently - Salman Khan - which ended up being a bad experience for Aishwarya - that included Salman-jee screaming inside her apartment complex in the dead of the night, beatings, being included in the Income Tax raid on Salman’s house where she was relaxing, threating phone calls from Salman (hey, not me, it’s the media that reported this shit) ityadi… ityadi..)… and then landing back on the dating scene with Vivek Oberoi - for a short while and finally getting together with Abhishek…

It must be mentioned that Salman (during his Ash dating days) had landed on Abhishek’s sets (not sure of the movie but he was in it along with Ash) and manhandled Abhishek because of rumors that he was having an affair with Aishwarya. So not sure if Aish and Abhi were dating since those days 5 - 6 years ago in a on again - off again kind of relationship.
Abhishek on the other hand was engaged once to Karishma Kapoor and but just before the marriage… things were officially broken off, by the parivaar (families) of both the sides… and then a few dates later (think it were some models he was going out with)…
It’s the final destination… Abhishek and Aishwarya are engaged after a few years of dating.
Here’s wishing both of them a very happy culmination into marriage and a very happy married life…
The point blank sharp reviews of their movies on Desi Train, though, will not be affected or toned down.

I wonder whether Ash’s decision to tie the knot was largely influenced by the recent debacle in her film-career. Sadly joining the Bachchan family isn’t going to help either. However if Sashur-ji and Sashu-ma take some acting classes we might see some improvements.

She already married the peepal tree in Varanasi on Nov 27th. The proposing in NY is all BS. All this was being staged for past 6-7 months.
