Does the “iPhone” make you…… horny?
Trust Apple to throw you off whenever you think “this is it” or “we can’t go no further”… Engadget is covering the CES… and is hot on Apple’s trail covering the Apple guys by the minute…
I’m stumped by what they have just found about 2 hours ago… will this be a revolution in phones, just like what iPod was in music…
Apple announces the iPhone…

Yes dear reader. The iPhone has deleted the buttons off the phone… it’s all touch screen from now… Specs? According to Engadget…
Sweet, glorious specs of the 11.6 millimeter device (that’s frickin’ thin, by the way) include a 3.5-inch 480 x 320 touchscreen display with multi-touch support and a proximity sensor to turn off the sensor when it’s close to your face, 2 megapixel cam, 4GB or 8 GB of storage, Bluetooth with EDR and A2DP, WiFi that automatically engages when in range, and quadband GSM radio with EDGE. Perhaps most amazingly, though, it somehow runs OS X with support for Widgets, Google Maps, and Safari, and iTunes (of course) with CoverFlow out of the gate. A partnership with Yahoo will allow all iPhone customers to hook up with free push IMAP email. Apple quotes 5 hours of battery life for talk or video, with a full 16 hours in music mode — no word on standby time yet…… The 4GB iPhone will go out the door in the US as a Cingular exclusive for $499 on a two-year contract, 8GB for $599. Ships Stateside in June, Europe in fourth quarter, Asia in 2008.
My check list. Need to find a software that can turn all my illegal music downloads into iTunes - Need to find a way to control myself from crying till June - Need Cingular… woops I have that service hehehehehe - Need 599$… call Boss and tell you need new computer for off site working…
Gizmodo has a neat album of photos of iPhone, here.

What’s fucking neat is the touchpad locks the sensitivity as soon as you move the phone close to your face, making sure that no part of the screen touched by your face triggers off any screen buttons!!!!!!!
Want more??? According to the Apple website the iPhone has a built in “Accelerometer”
iPhone’s accelerometer detects when you rotate the device from portrait to landscape, then automatically changes the contents of the display, so you immediately see the entire width of a web page or a photo in its proper landscape aspect ratio.
The proximity sensor detects when you lift iPhone to your ear and immediately turns off the display to save power and prevent inadvertent touches until iPhone is moved away.
An ambient light sensor automatically adjusts the display’s brightness to the appropriate level for the current ambient light, thereby enhancing the user experience and saving power at the same time.
Of course there are a lot of doubts about the phone too… Check out the comments at Engadget here (scroll down), where some readers feel it may just not work… God I hope it does… I hope it does… Darn June looks so so so so fucking far away…

i don’t think there is anyone who can beat apple in design and esthetics. they win hands down all the time and the “cool factor” is simply awesome in all there stuff.
I’m really drooling over this one.. and maybe finally consider buying something other than SE after a long time.
