Big Brother gets Big Sister
Shilpa Shetty is on Big Brother - the show which has participants from the entertainment industry living in a house under camera.
Frankly I’m hooked. Though I wish it could be made a little tighter… but then it’s a reality show and people do get boring after some time living under the same roof, talking the same stuff…
Well news is that Shilpa-jee has been offered Rupees 3 crores (about 700k US) to enter the deadly doors of Big Brother’s house… here’s the link at DNA India
But Shilpa-didi can’t utter a word since she’s barred from talking to the press about her stint…
Shilpa joins “Big Brother” from Jan 1 and spends the next 25 days on the show. The actress has been forbidden from talking about it, but a reliable source said that she has been paid the equivalent of a whopping Rs.30 million to be the only Bollywood participant on the show.

Apparently her friends and family aren’t in the contract that refrains them to talking to the media…
Says a close friend of the actress: “Shilpa is basically a home bird and she’s dreading this long stay with strangers. But she’s also excited because it’s an honour to be on ‘Big Brother’. Not like its Indian counterpart ‘Bigg Boss’ where any and every wannabe was a contestant. ‘Big Brother’ has the biggest celebrities in the world.”
Home Bird… Honor… so are we gonna see a very diplomatic - tame and demure Shilpa? hmmm… but it’s Big Brother. Shit happens ;) and that’s what I like about this Big Brother.

Big Brother….Big Boss….damn are they a rip-off from Big Brother that we had here in US? Throw in celebrities in a house for 3 months and do nothing?….Hmm…would be interesting to see if anyone gets laid in there….hehehehe..sick mind working overtime

I think the US big brother was a rip off of some show from UK.

it’s not a rip off. basically, it started in Holland and then, UK, Germany and so on. it’s like a world-wide series now.

Apparently shilpa was called a “dog” and other nasty names by some bitchy celebrities on that show. She burst out crying and stuff. I don’t know why some sick ppl get their kick from abusing ppl?

well us girls in the U.K call men dogs who we don’t like,girls also call other girls dogs,there is a racist issue but the DOG thing is nothing to do with racism its just a saying
