Kabul Fiza : The Peppiness is back!
Switch on the tele… which I hardly use for watching… television… B4U channel… they are showing trailers… the trailers look less trailers and more like an MTV video segment… have these guys forgotten what trailers are meant to be or do?
Then comes the seen a couple of times Kabul Express trailer… and right after that, they play the Kabul Fiza video… makes me sit up. WTF!!! Mixing scenes from the movie with a video shoot of John Abraham and Arshad Warsi in a tacky set (which you tend to forgive)…
Your feet start moving… you close your eyes and pump your fist in the air… your eyes shut sharp… you dig deeper inside you, diving inside to search for the source of that sudden happiness… the euphoria… you want to taste it more… the Song now plays on consistent loop at home, in your car on your DAP…
One word… WOW!!! After a long long long time… can I hear the peppiness, feel it, touch it… the computerized trash dished out along with the Nasal star’s overdose for more than a year… this is freshness… a whiff of spring in California thick in it’s fall season… right there in your living room… WOW…

- VC, Yeah… I’ve been seeing Anwar’s trailers on TV… it’s been made by the same guy who made the documentary that Suparn was talking in his post on PFC the other day.

oz … there’s a film made by that guy .. .called Matrubhoomi … the one which i keep raving aboiut all the time …. a must see …
Actually an ftii student reveals that Anwar had initially an ftii actor in the title role. But then manisha koirala came in to the project and her brother siddarth bagged the title role… (manisha plays a cameo i guess in the film )
Since then i kind of lost intrest in anwar … it seems like a typical communal harmony/riots film
