Friday Wrap
Arrive early morning at work. Did not shower. And I’m angry at myself for this. Emails in my box from DT and PFC readers. A half hour later I’ve gone through most of them.
Today’s the day. The Allen Carr seminar - to become a non-smoker forever. A bit excited, a bit nervous.
Jump to PFC. Anurag’s new article. Hooked - line and sinker. Now I have no freaking idea about what is taught in film schools on underwater shoots. But hell… mind’s racing around, Anurag jokingly asks for ideas and I’m seriously (albeit stupidly) throwing my ideas in the comments section. I don’t care. It’s a fun place to be in, nothings stupid, nothings concrete. I like the flexible form PFC’s taking.
Suddenly there are atleast half a dozen people I would like to invite on to write on PFC… damn it… it’s almost 11 am. Have to leave by 11:30 so I can be in Santa Monica on time. Beautiful place. The seminar’s at a hotel facing the ocean. Thinking of having lunch while watching the ocean. Which reminds me… haven’t seen the ocean in some time. Need to go and do those lazy walks on beautiful Laguna or Newport. Laguna sounds more enticing. It’s got that 70s feel to it.
Will ask Sumeet and T! if they would like to join on Saturday noon. Coffee/Lunch/Ice creams over hot cinema discussions by the Laguna shore are some of the simple pleasures I haven’t experienced in quite some time.
11:08. Shit! Gotta leave in 22 minutes. So is this the last day of my cigarette smoking? I’m not thinking about it. Just going through the motions. But if I become a non-smoker tonight, I’ll gladly not miss those cigarettes that I have closely lived with for 18 long years.

wow.. never had a smoke in my life.. only unlit cigarettes have touched my lips for a couple of roles i had to do.. but addicted i am, to films… and that’s one habit that’s never gonna break.. so in a sense i guess i do know what it feels like to be addicted to something.. it’s just not smoking. but regardless oz bhai, good luck! you can do it!! :)>- =d>

Oz, You wake me up at sharp 9:30 AM every Sunday…So, please let me sleep sound till 2 PM on Saturday’s…lol…Helll nowhere in US can you go to a beach in almost November with sun coming out and Ice-gola…with movie discussions, discussions about PFC…fuck sleep… i am all in.
