Vineesh Rao, stood with his back resting on the wall of the bistro, facing the ocean. The rain had forced the bistro owner to remove all his chairs and tables from the porch. Vineesh had a cup of coffee in his right hand as he glanced at his wrist watch.
He looked up. There was no sign of the rain stopping anytime soon. Everything around him looked a tinge blue. He had this soft melancholic feeling as he gazed at the ocean with blank eyes. You start to uncork the champagne. One of the top actors of our times has come out with his first directorial venture in the land of cinema. Naseeruddin Shah, despite his many lows, is still a powerhouse, a library, a school of acting in himself.
Time to celebrate. Press play, sit back, push your footrest up and enjoy.
Oh wait a minute! Champagne to kholo bhaiee (Hinglish: Open the champagne you ass). Unfortunately, the champagne’s flat and has no fizz. It’s equivalent to drinking an extra sour grape juice, that’s bound to have you spending the next 38 hours of your life in the rest room. No boom boom here.

Well, according to this report, Green is an internet sex gambler (internet sex gambler? what the hell does that mean) had laid a bet, whereby he got his girlfriend Katie Greenwood to promise him a three-in-a-bed romp if his website got five million hits.

If you don't know who Jaideep Sahni is then here's a fast forward recap (source: IMDB). He's the one who writes screenplays/stories and his work so far includes Jungle, Company, Bunty aur Babli and the soon to be released Khosla ka Ghosla. Indiafm does an interview with Sahni and it's worth a dekko.
Sidenote: Why wasn't Khosla ka Ghosla titled as Khosle ka Ghosla, which sounds more apt for the tongue.

The 1993 Bombay blasts court judgement on Sanjay Dutt, in all probability will be passed out on September 12. A brief recap : In 1993, Sanjay Dutt via his alleged contacts in the underworld (namely Dawood and his sidekicks), got hold of some illegal weapons (his take: to protect himself and his family during the riots that preceded the blasts), and later after the blasts had them thrown into a furnace via his producer friends, who themselves were friends with the blast masterminds.
According to this IBN report, it looks like a section of the Bollywood industry is headed for a financial crash, if Sanjay Dutt is sent to jail tomorrow

Why do you continue to be media shy?
I’ve always been a very shy person. I’d rather let my work speak for me. Finally, the audience judges you by what you do rather than what you say. Talking about oneself might be the norm these days, but I’m not going to change. I’m happy the way I am. If people like me, fine. If they don’t, how can I convince them that I am good? Shouting from rooftops doesn’t suit me because that’s what I’m accused of doing in my films.

It's been bugging me. There's a lot that goes on in anyone's life. Things that push the person up or down. The state of mind floats up or sinks down based on things going on in your life.
What does one do in such times? Does one go out and socialize? Fuck me, I don't wanna move an inch from my LazyBoy chair in those times. And yet I've been pushing myself. The various methods of the game talk about high energy as the foundation for the game. But what if you are consistently feeling low energy each weekend, each evening, for days at a stretch.

Munnabhai is a hit. The sequel is a super hit. Contrary to many apprehensions the sequel turned out to be a well made one.
Money is flowing in. In fact, judging by the press reports, it's a flood of cash flowing in for Vidhu Vinod Chopra Productions.
And somewhere in India, two kids approach Arshad Warsi. They wanted to create a video game, with Circuit as the main character. Warsi's time to make some money. But he can't. All copyrights of Munnabhai and its various characters and elements are held by Vidhu Vinod Chopra.
And that's a sad case a.k.a. pattern in Bollywood. The system of earning a percentage of the gross has not yet seeped in. Actors are paid a fixed ...

Since the last 18.352 hours I've been searching for my razor. No. It's not just any razor. It was my first razor I ever used to shave. And it had been the topic of discussion amongst friends and family for long.
It was gold plated razor gifted to me by my dad. And it brought me instant fame. Snap. Like that. I was famous. oz shaves with a gold plated razor. It is the first razor of his life.
So to get back some of the fame I once achieved via my gold plated razor, I've been looking for my "Manilal Harilal & Sons Gold Razor".
Tragically I did not find it. So I went to the supermarket across ...

Somewhere between Sunday night and early Monday morning, Desi Train crossed the 200,000 mark. I know it is a small figure compared to others who achieve that mark in a single day, yet for a virtually unknown blogger it is an important milestone.
I started counting readers since August 2005. In May 2006 we reached the magical figure of 100,000. In 8 months!!!
And now another 100,000 has been added in just half the time!!! Amazing!!!

Sydney Morning Herald reports
Television personality and environmentalist Steve Irwin has died in a marine accident in north Queensland, state government sources say.
Known worldwide as the Crocodile Hunter, he was famous for his enthusiasm for wildlife and his catchcry "Crikey!''.
The 44-year-old is believed to have been killed by a stingray barb that went through his chest, the sources said.
He was filming an underwater documentary off Port Douglas when the accident occurred.
Mr Irwin's body was being flown to Cairns by helicopter.
Australian emergency officials could not immediately confirm the reports.
