Restructuring… from scripts to your body

Quite a few interesting pieces to begin the day with.

If you don’t know who Jaideep Sahni is then here’s a fast forward recap (source: IMDB). He’s the one who writes screenplays/stories and his work so far includes Jungle, Company, Bunty aur Babli and the soon to be released Khosla ka Ghosla. Indiafm does an interview with Sahni and it’s worth a dekko.

Sidenote: Why wasn’t Khosla ka Ghosla titled as Khosle ka Ghosla, which sounds more apt for the tongue.

Well, we then have Ms. Kareena Kapoor talking about Body restructuring. Yes, dear reader. If the almost invisible Kareena’s wafer thin body wasn’t enough to have us straining our eyes, we better get ready to buy soda bottle glasses to now seen her on screen. Kareena is talking of slimming down furthur for her next project with Mani Ratnam. (source: Mumbai Mirror)

Oh and by the way, Salman Khan’s problem plate seems to have a new addition. His driver. It seems his driver will be acting in a movie called Quaidi No 210, that’s inspired from the real life Chinkara incident that Salmanjee is entangled in. (source: Mumbai Mirror)

Kabul Express is being shown at the Toronto film festival. Damn it!!! When is it coming to LA??? Well lucky buggers of Toronto got to see it and mybindi, no not “my” bindi, I’m not turning gay, but the website mybindi.com has a review of Kabul Express. They don’t mention the reviewer and I haven’t read a review off that site before, so it’s a simple passing glance and walk away reaction from my end.

Sanjay Dutt’s judegment is not yet in. It may take another month for his turn to come up for the judgement. He’s numbered 117 in the accused box. So I guess, that means it will be a couple of weeks. Until then he’ll be spending many a sleepless nights. Who knows? Perhaps he already knows what’s coming up, what with all the contacts and access to inside info.

The cinema fanatics site, PFC, has a detailed coverage on the Independent Film Festival that took place in Southern California, while there’s Full2Faltu with his review on Ahista Ahista where he gives the movie an 8 out of a 10. Wow!
