Is Google hit? Gmail, Adsense are sleeping
Update: The issue seems to have been resolved now. (Phew!)
Wake up early morning, arrive on my desk with an extra hot almond mocha, fire up the browser and unashamedly land on the first site of the day - my blog.
The bloody page wouldn’t load up. What the hell?. Forget about it and try to login to my gmail account. Same problem. The gmail page wouldn’t load on my screen. The “Waiting for Reply” sign on my browser kept going on and on.
Fuck it
Start doing my early morning rounds on the latest news, veiws and who slept with who’s beau.
Many sites wouldn’t load up! Same problem.

And then I realized that all those sites (including that of yours truly) have google ads and somehow none of those sites are loading quickly in the browser. It’s taking ages and after about 3 - 4 minutes one of the pages did load up, but there were no Google ads on them.
I quickly try going to Desi Train. And sure it happens there too. After about a minute and a half, the home page of Desi Train does load up, minus all my Google ads.
Since all my google ads are stored in two or three blocks (I use a adsense plugin which makes it very easy to centrally control all my Google ads), I simply went in and changed the blocks to show adbrite ads instead of those from Google.
In case you have a site running Adsense, and have the same problem, my advise would be to either remove Adsense for now, until Google fixes the problem, or point your ad blocks to another ad program.
Slow sites equate to visitor loss and I’m sure you don’t want that to happen.
