Preview of the Next Series

The curtains fall on the MBA Gang with the final chapter, which should be up within a day or two.

I thought this would be a good time to let you, dear readers, know on what the Desi Train Circle, selected as the next fiction, out of the couple of ideas I had bounced off them.

The next fiction will be shorter and told in about 3 - 5 chapters.

Interviewing a Sex-Addict

Dr. Kamalkanth is a very successful psychologist settled in Orange County, California. One fine morning he finds himself sitting infront of a highly successful and intelligent person from India, who suffers from sex-addiction.

In trying to open up layer after layer of Jay Thakore’s inner psyche, Kamalkanth finds himself getting entangled in every layer he unravels for Jay. As Jay takes the doctor deep into his world where wanting and having sex is the prime drive to keep on living, at whatever cost and price, Kamalkanth is sucked deeper and deeper into the hole he began digging by agreeing to meet Jay in the first place.

Does the doctor become a sex-addict and Jay the psychologist?

Series begins in about 10 days…

Apologies for the out-of-context post — although people who have seen me on DT know that this is not very uncommon of me.

Anyways, one of my team members shared this snippet today — and I think I actually *know* someone who comes pretty close — no prizes for guessing though.

He gives away authority, power, position and recognition as if he has no interest in such possessions — which is true.
He also hands out rewards, praise, respect and support to all who merit them; then, mysteriously it seems, receives more in return than he gave away.
He has everything, yet claims nothing for himself.
He gets everything done, yet points to others as the ones who did it.

What are you really feeling? What would happen if you just expressed it?
What are you really wondering? What would happen if you just inquired about it?
What do you really think? What would happen if you just said it?
What do you really want? What would happen if you just asked for it?

While the rest of us ponder these questions - he is the one who DOES than just BE.

    “To have without possessing,
    do without claiming,
    lead without controlling;
    this is mysterious power.
    -Lau Tzu; Tao Te Ching”

True leadership is a mysterious power — mostly because the leader doesn’t appear to do anything except be himself. It seems effortless; yet it’s powerful beyond expectation.
