Kabul Express
The Naachgaana site was buzzing with activity when a post was published that had the just released posters of Kabul Express, Dhoom 2 and Fanaa.
“Kabul Express” kept popping up now and then in the news for one reason or the other, but it didn’t generate any curiosity until I saw the poster and went online to search for what the movie was all about. Here’s an intelligently designed poster of Kabul Express that is cleverly pointed to spark a reaction - “What the hell is this movie about?”

Kabul Express stars John Abraham, Arshad Warsi, Pakistani actor Salman Shahid, Afghani actor Humghum and American actress Linda Arsenio. The story according to Indobase -
John Abraham along with Arshad Warsi will play the role of TV journalists. John will be shown as a director and Arshad as a cinematographer. Both will be sent to cover the war against the Taliban in Afghanistan.
The film depicts a journey of five people travelling from Kabul to the outskirts of Pakistan. In Afghanistan, everything is quite dangerous and the army comes to drop journalists in helicopters and leaves. What happens to them after that and how they make their way across to Pakistan, is what “Kabul Express” is about.
According to News Central Asia -
Kabul Express is a thriller and an anti-war film set in post 9/11 Afghanistan, which tells the story of a 48-hour car drive in the most dangerous country, where Arshad Warsi plays a cinematographer and John Abraham, a TV director.
The movie is being directed by Kabir Khan who seems to have made quite a few documentaries ranging from the Kargil War to Afghanistan.
And here’s what Dhoom 2 looks like…

Hi OZ! Though the film certainly seems interesting, I found the poster rather average (which is the case with most hindi films) The Fanaa poster is better, though. I think Bollywood should take some pointers from Hollywood in this regard…some of their posters are really intelligently and creatively designed. Check out impawards.com

- Anindita, You are welcome.
- Jahan, You dude are a harcore romantic ;) Maybe 20 odd years ago I would have fallen in love with Fanaa. Now those movies excite me where I’m left guessing what they would be all about.

Such a Fucking stupid movie i have never seen in my life…
When a film insults a big nation it is to me like a bull sheet.
Yash Chopra! why should we establish mistrust and hatered between two nations Afghan and Indian. But Kabul Express did it.
