Obsession. Beware of it. Avoid it. Run when you see it. Or else. You will find your world turning on its head. It will kick you, spank you, squeeze the last thread of sanity out of you and the reasons for me talking about this today is to help you avoid a week of intolerable self inflicted cruelty, as I did to myself…
Sunday evening. It’s a beautiful evening. It’s been 3 days since I blogged and my hands are itching to fiercely type those ideas revolving in my head. I fire up my word doc. I fire up my browser to check for latest comments. I look at my blog. And then it happened. The ...

The tyranny of Abu Salem finally ends…the CBI have managed to extradite him from Portugal where he was held in custody for the last 3 years. Apparently being the person behind threatening half of Bollywood and being the guy behind the murders of various film personalities, Bollywood may be able to heave a sigh of relief. Salem is the guy behind the murder of T-Series owner Gulshan Kumar, attempted murders (Rakesh Roshan, Rajiv Rai) among others.

Betelal, you certainly looked enthused, obtuse and confused in your reaction. Pray tell me what is disturbing you after watching the promo and me, your Sirjee, will show you the light, help you be free.
Sirjee, Sanjay F. Gupta is the greatest polisher in Bollywood.
What does that mean? Was he a boot polish wallah before? Glass polish wallah? Furniture polish wallah? Or Apple polish wallah?
Oh No Sirjee No. Film Polish Wallah. The polish in his films can make even the blind go blind…if there is such ...

It’s a sleepy Sunday morning. My first roommate’s lying on my sofa softly caressing and holding tight my TV remote. My second roommate is talking to someone in India, at a volume which will give – any Desi Ganpati/Durga/Dandiya event organizer and his loudspeaker volume controller, - an inferiority complex. So after having digested my muli ka parothas with a topping of Amul Butter, I take the remote away from my first roommate. There is nothing more tragic in his life than taking the remote away from him and I ensure this tragedy happens in his life a couple of times everyday. So I’m surfing through the Desi channels and suddenly voila – Naseeruddin Shah – giving an interview on ...
