Debendra Kumar Panda, the Uttar Pradesh - Inspector General of Police, yes the top guy in a state just below a mantra and his suntri – is in the news. Reason….ahem…his picture here can best explain what the situation is. In short he claims to now dedicate his entire life to Lord Krishna and calls himself “doosri Radhaâ€â€¦
I have nothing against the picture nor against his statements in the press. Perhaps he’s blessed with revelations of the Ultimate Truth. He’s blessed…or perhaps he’s gone plain crazy. Whatever be the case…would someone please advise him to first step down as the top cop of U.P. and then follow his religious pursuits or crazy antics.
In a separate report Panda now claims to have received spiritual insight and calls himself Baba Krishnanandaji. One of his many statements given to the press include “I am not Radha, but Rukminiâ€
Meanwhile Panda’s real wife thinks these are just antics to get married a second time.
As if the police in U.P. is not having enough problems of it’s own, their boss now takes them deeper into shitland. Again, I don’t know if Panda really has received “spiritual revelations†or these are plain antics, whatever be the case, it is best he resigns and carries on his nautanki or someone please boot this guy out for goodness sake. To be fair to Panda, he has sought voluntary retirement.

Heh yeah, In a press conference, when a reporter (female, if I may add) said, “Pandaji, Ye Bataiye…” He Shouted out “Mujhe Pandaji nahi, Sakhi Bulao”

@akhil - :-) yeah I saw him on the news last night. missed his “interesting” dialogues with the press though.
heard that he has taken voluntary retirement.
