Friday and here in office. About to wrap up and leave. For the last 3 days my damn right side headache has followed me. Someone at lunch said “It’s a migrane” – so that’s it after years and years of suffering the sometime right, sometimes left side pain in the head, it has finally been revealed. That I too, get migraines. And for the last so many years I had been under the false impression that it is my outrageous overdone sexual activity – with partner or alone that gave me these headaches. Damn it. All this time I had been blaming mini-me for this.

And then there’s the stepping into winter, darkness by 4pm and lights go on all over the house. Years ago my yoga instructor (and no I didn’t sleep with her) told me that depression also happens due to the effects of light. Hence, according to her, more people are depressed in winters than in summers. The effect of her lecture was my buying 14 Indian styled – “tubelights” and installing them all over the house. How much it has had a positive effect on me – I can’t tell, but visitors to my house do want to know if my house was a former public library.

And it’s been a long time since I’ll be having time alone to myself on a weekend. No plans. No dates. No sarging (pickup projects). Though “T” and her friends are bar hopping on Saturday night and want me to join them. I am in two minds. The last time I joined an ex (“PJ”) for a drink with her friends, I ended up meeting 2 other women in the group whom I had dated before. So “PJ” and these two exes band together and discuss….yes dear blog reader….the unthinkable…they discuss me.

But it wasn’t that bad, cause it revealed to me a whole new world of sexual acronyms that I had heard some, and many I hadn’t.

So I am thinking, it’s not a good idea to accept “T’s” invite to party with her female friends on Friday.
