Dream Logic

What happens when you remember your dreams the next morning? The tone/mood of the dream becomes your mood throughout the day. For the last few days, I’ve been remembering each of my dreams and it is something I’m not prepared for. Last night it was Bill Gates interviewing me on a typical Delhi house in Chandni Chowk terrace, my parents standing behind me, and Gates questioning if I would (and this is very strange) move to Alaska to work for him for a ton of money. The weather - where we are talking - is cloudy, rainy type, but not raining, kind of like Seattle weather. I give Gates a positive nod to his question.

I remember during my days of struggle few years ago, this dream I had, I tried to decipher it but couldn’t. I was at a chemist/pharmacy store buying eye drops. I pass on the prescription, the pharmacist turns it back saying they don’t have the medication, I glance inside the store and see the eye drops are actually there. I reprimand the pharmacist, get the drops and am out of there. What could be the link? I had worked every angle of the dream, yet couldn’t arrive at a conclusion. About 10 days later I got a job which resolved a lot of issues and problems I had at that time. Without revealing much, I would say the meaning of the dream became very clear a few days later after I joined the new firm.
Another dream I remember is during my college days. In this dream I clearly saw me fighting with one of my roommates and he crunches my balls and throws me to the ground. At first I though, what the hell, could he be gay or something? But 4 days later we had a massive argument and he got the better of me in the fist fight which followed.

I always wish I could dream about being on a beach surrounded by beauties in bikinis, maybe their tops are off, natural or silicon I don’t care, me sipping a bloody-mary, watching the clear blue ocean below the clear sweet sky. Sigh.
Why don’t I get such dreams? Ball crunching, buying medication, talking to Gates, etc. etc…I’ve had enough. Now I want to dream those dreams which I can only day-dream about. I want to have those dreams and more and watch them come to reality. Meanwhile I’m stuck with Gates on a terrace of some house in Chandni Chowk…
